During an internship, I developed this sculptural concept using discarded thermoplastic blocks—industrial waste that is typically shipped to another company for re-melting and reuse. However, I selected specific blocks that I found visually striking and transformed them into two sculptural pieces. The first piece consists of a series of four blocks held together with metal rods, emphasizing their raw materiality and structural potential. The second is a functional chair, incorporating the base of an old chair, also reinforced with metal rods.
