A continuous exploration of what fashion is...
Part 1: Earth bumps into fire
This narrative represents my frustration with my inability to stop forest fires, yet here the punch is so powerful that it actually does. In creating this series, I channel my desire to protect the planet through my art, making a statement about the transformative power of action.
Part 2: Cinderella’s Slipper
This series reimagines Cinderella’s glass slipper as heels made of ice, exploring fragility and impermanence. The first image captures the woman walking confidently, the second suspends her legs against a vast blue sky, evoking weightlessness. In the final image, she lies on the grass, with her heel snapped—melted by the warmth of the earth. The images are created through collage and then scanned, blending physical and digital elements to enhance the ephemeral nature of the story.
Part 3: Tinman
This series goes beyond natural elements like earth, fire and ice, and explores the destructive nature of humans. It questions how these once natural materials push us further away from nature, while also harming it.
